Additional Funding Opportunity – Kipaji Scholarship
The Kipaji Scholarship is a further source of funding for students in receipt of the UTS Scholarship. It offers up to €12,000 in additional financial assistance. You need to satisfy extra eligibility criteria to be eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Twente Scholarship 2025
Prior to applying, applicants should have the following:

– Possess a bachelor‘s degree from an accredited university.
– Hold a conditional admission letter for a master‘s course at the University of Twente for the 2025/2026 academic year.
– Have an average mark of 7/10 following the third quartile of their first year.
– Keep 50 percent of European Credits (ECs) while pursuing their master‘s.
– Possess a student number, which you may apply for via Studielink.
– Show English competence with at least a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90.
– Rank in the top 5 to 10 percent of their class.
– Not qualify for a Dutch study loan.
– Not have graduated from the University of Twente.
– Fulfill the visa requirements to study in the Netherlands, if necessary.

There are two principle steps to the application process:

Step 1: Apply for Admission to the University of Twente

– Apply for a master‘s program at the University of Twente.

– Wait for the conditional admission approval from the university.

Step 2: Apply for the University of Twente Scholarship

– Upon receipt of the letter of admission, apply separately for the UTS scholarship.

 – Complete the mandatory application form and provide all required documents.
